A review of the Elizabeth Arden - Must Have Travel Essentials Set

This set contains six summer essential products. I have been using the set for a week and have seen a dramatic difference in the condition of my skin. I ride four times a week and spend an above average amount of time outdoors so keeping my skin looking anything but dry and red is a bit of a challenge. This set raised to the challenge and delivered!

Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant The Original - For me this is the star of this lovely travel set and is definitely Elizabeth Arden's pièce de résistance Although labelled as a cream this is a gorgeous balm that can be used for so many purposes including burnt skin, dry lips, chapped skin and softening tough, hard cuticles, knees and elbows. I love it and can see why this product is loved by everyone throughout the beauty industry. It soothed and calmed my skin in a way that no other product I have used has ever done. The dryness on my face and hands was gone in just a few days and is still being held at bay. The set is worth buying for this one product alone.
Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream - A good all-rounder with a lovely scent. I used this over my whole body as a daily after bath cream. It is light and doesn't leave any greasy residue, so you can throw on your outfit straight after using - or in my case pyjamas!

Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream SPF 30
 - Another great product. This one I used in the morning after cleansing and before applying makeup. I find a number of creams leave my face slightly greasy or I have to wait for ages before I can apply my makeup. This is not the case at all with this cream, yet it still feels like it is delivering a really good level of moisture without that clogging feeling you get with some brands.

Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum - My second favourite product in the set! I have used serums before and they can be very hit and miss in my experience. This is definitely a hit for me, it has luxurious silky texture and feels amazing when you apply it. It takes a while to soak in completely, as is the case with many serums, so don't use it just before you go to bed. This is one product that I will be using as part of my skin routine from now on. I used it every other evening and, as I have mentioned I have very dry skin, and it has definitely helped!

Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment - This has now replaced my previous hand cream as it feels like it does a great job for much longer. The nice subtle scent is another plus for me as my last hand cream was highly scented, which then overpowered my perfume. This is a summer essential in my opinion and a must for anyone whether you're travelling or not.

Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser - For me this was a little bit lighter than the cleanser t I would normally us, but after a week I felt that is a good thing as I exfoliate daily and, with the benefit of hindsight, my last one was a little abrasive for me. Again, this has a lovely scent and rich feel whilst it delivers a good level of scrub without being harsh. I will now use this as my daily cleanser and my other one once a week.

Over all this is a five-star set in my eyes and I would highly recommend making the most of the price and set while it is available. Even if you aren't going away it is worth buying and at £22.99 it is an absolute bargain.
